Josefa Madamba Llanes Escoda (born Josefa Llanes y Madamba; September 20, 1898 – January 6, 1945) was a Filipino civic leader, social worker, World War II heroine, and suffragette.

Josefa Segovia, also known as Juanita or Josefa Loaiza, was a Mexican-American woman who was executed by hanging in Downieville, California, on July 5, 1851.
