The electrical system of the International Space Station is a critical part of the International Space Station as it allows the operation of essential life-support systems, safe operation of the station, operation of science equipment, as well as improving crew comfort.

Electrical busbar systems (sometimes simply referred to as busbar systems) are a modular approach to electrical wiring, where instead of a standard cable wiring to every single electrical device, the electrical devices are mounted onto an adapter which is directly fitted to a current carrying busbar.

An electrical wiring interconnect system is the wiring system and components (such as bundle clamps, wire splices, etc.) for a complex system.
